Lenny Chandler has been interested in cars since he got his first in 1972 – a 1969 Dodge Super Bee. Each spring and fall meant another chance for a trip to Carlisle Swap Meet searching for parts. Slowly he began collecting, a Sunoco sign here, a Texaco can there, and once started, well you know how it goes…

Now he and Phyllis are familiar faces at several swap meets including Mason-Dixon, Metro-Petro, Hershey, Dixie Gas, Columbus, Oil City and as many others as they can find a way to attend. In between shows they enjoy hunting for treasures at flea markets and antique malls from Pennsylvania to Virginia. Nothing beats discovering a Flying A pump plate, a Gulf Marine sign, an Esso can or a Tydol map, until the next trip when there might be an Invader or Gargoyle – you get the idea!
